Freshmen Welcome Schedule and important Move-in Information

In an effort to make your Move-in experience as pleasant as possible, please refer to the move-in packet that was mailed to your home.  If you have not received a packet with a color-coded hang tag and move-in map, please call Residence Life at 570.941.6226.

Freshmen students have been issued a designated time of arrival and color coded transportation route.  To view the transportation route map, please click the Freshmen Zone Move-in Map below.

What to expect on Saturday, August 25th:

Arrive on campus via your assigned route.

Driver will pull up to move-in zone, (driver must stay with vehicle at all times.)

Professional Staff and Student Volunteers will unload your vehicle and take all of your belongings to your room while you pick up your room key and check-in.  All personal belonging must be labeled with your name, building, and room assignment.

After your car is unloaded, the driver will be given instructions to park the car and you will follow the day's move-in schedule.

Fall Welcome Schedule:

Saturday, August 27th:

7:30a.m. - 1:30p.m.- Move-in to First Year Residence Halls and Houses

10:30a.m. - 2:00p.m. Brunch; The DeNaples Center, 3rd floor

2:30p.m.New Freshmen report to John K. Long, S.J., Center for processional line up and class picture

 2:30p.m. Guests report to Byron Recreation Complex

 3:00p.m.- 4:00p.m. Convocation; Byron Recreation Complex

4:00p.m. - 5:30p.m. Break

5:30p.m. -6:45p.m. Mass; Byron Recreation Complex

6:45p.m. -8:00p.m. Class of 2016 Picnic Dinner; Dionne Green, (Rain Location: Denaples Center)

8:00p.m. Residence Hall Floor Meetings

10:00p.m. Social Program, Byron Recreation Complex

Sunday, August 28th

9:30a.m. - 11:00a.m. Brunch, DeNaples Center, 3rd floor

11:00a.m. - 12:00p.m. Required College Meetings with Academic Deans

KSOM: Moskovitz Theater, The DeNaples Center

PCPS: Royal Theater, McDade Center

CAS: Houlihan-McLean Center

12:30p.m. - 3:30p.m. Various Activities

(Service project, classroom tours, etc)

4:00p.m. Royal Olympics; Dionne Green (Rain Location: Long Center)
