
Mission Statement and Student Learning Outcomes
Mission:
The Center for Health Education and Wellness promotes a healthier campus community through prevention programs and educational activities. Our peer educators focus on the eight dimensions of wellness to assist students to achieve individual well-being by making health choices based on their developing values.
Expected Student Learning Outcomes:
Peer educators will develop leadership and communication skills while positively affecting others by teaching new information, changing an attitude, motivating a positive behavior change, or confronting or challenging a risky behavior.
