The Scranton SIFE team was founded in 2005 by Dr. Jan Kelly, and has been successful every year since. Scranton has won the Regional Competition in Philadelphia every year since 2007. The team also participated in the National Expo in Dallas in 2007, Chicago in 2008, and Philadelphia in 2009. SIFE is offered every semester as a class (COMM 428: PR Campaigns/Competitions) for 1.5 credits, under the supervision of Dr. Kelly. Elaine Tweedy, Director of the Small Business Development Center, is also a SIFE advisor.
