A cappella: without instrumental accompaniment
Men and Women for Octaves is a club for a cappella groups. Founded in February 2010, we have a co-ed group, the Octaves, and an all women's group, Royal Harmony, which was founded in the Fall 2010 semester. Entering into our third year as a club on campus, we continue to bring music to the Scranton community. We hold auditions at the beginning of every year, have rehearsals every week, and bring music to University and community events. Students and faculty can be involved as singing members or administrative members. We are a group of people who love music and have big ideas for bringing vocal music to the University community.
