J.U.S.T.I.C.E. Club
About the Club
The J.U.S.T.I.C.E. Club (Jesuit University Students Concerned with Empowerment) strives to educate the University community about social justice issues and to take actions to rectify them. At meetings, students discuss various unjust social phenomena that fail to recognize the rights of individuals within the local, national, and international community. Students raise awareness and advocate for social change through several means including peaceful protests, letter-writing campaigns, campus events, and others.
Some events the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. Club has sponsored in the past include:
*Ignatian Solidarity Teach-In for Justice - Washington D.C.
*Hunger and Homelessness Week
*International Day of Peace Prayer Service
*Jesuit Martyrs of El Salvador Prayer Service
