My name is Michael Archer and I was formerly the HPO Secretary in 2005. I just wanted to make sure my contact, or at least e-mail, information was available for the current pre-med students. I graduated from Scranton in 2005 and was at LECOM-Erie from 2005-2009. I started my General Surgery training at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA in 2009 and recently completed my third year of residency. Two weeks ago. I embarked a two-year post-doctoral research fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. After I’m done with this fellowship, I’ll head back to Allegheny General to finish up my last two years of General Surgery training before heading (hopefully) off to a Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship.
