Habitat For Humanity
University of Scranton Chapter Mission Statement
The University of Scranton Habitat For Humanity Chapter is a nonprofit,
ecumenical club set out to build and rehabilitate simple, decent homes,
alongside the homeowner families who otherwise would not be able to
afford them. Through volunteer labor and donations of money and
materials, this endeavor is made possible. Our club acts in
partnership with and on behalf of Habitat for Humanity International
and Habitat for Humanity of Lackawanna County. We invite people of all
backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in
partnership with families in need.
