United Students for Fair Trade
Welcome! On this site you will find everything you need to know about the University of Scranton's United Students for Fair Trade club (USFT).
We meet twice a month to discuss upcoming events, to reflect on past events, to learn about Fair Trade, and to brainstorm for new Fair Trade projects.
Some of our projects on campus include hosting Fair Trade coffee give-aways, Fair Trade Holiday Sales, Fair Trade service trips to SERRV International, and our annual Fair Trade Vendor Fair in the spring. Feel free to contact us for more information. We hope that you find this site helpful and informative and we hope to see you at our next meeting! :)
New members are always welcome!
Our Mission Statement: The mission statement of the University of Scranton's United Students for Fair Trade Club is first to unite interested and concerned students to learn about Fair Trade and why it is important to our school community and global community. Secondly, by planning programs and activities, USFT aims to work with campus offices and officials towards making the University of Scranton an ethical and responsible consumer. In all club affairs, USFT will uphold the values central to the Fair Trade Movement- transparency, accountability, respect, and equity.
