Live@edu
Welcome to Live@edu
Live@edu encompasses not only our new email system, using the Outlook Live Web App, but many other features. Among those, is SkyDrive. This is our personal storage area where we can store up to 7 Gigs (See SkyDrive below), of anything we want to keep. From files, folders, and documents, to pictures, PDFs, and other files. Along with the large storage area, comes several popular Web Apps, such as WORD, Excel, and PowerPoint. These are web versions of familiar programs that we can use on-line to create, edit and share files and projects with classmates, family and friends.
Scroll down this page for more information on Live@edu and all the features that comprise the package, all "in the cloud." SkyDrive, the web apps, and our email program, Outlook Live, are all accessible from any device capable of connecting us to the internet.
EMAIL - WEB APPS - SKYDRIVE STORAGE
Welcome to our new Live@edu program. This new environment includes our email, calendar, and web apps all "in the cloud." OUTLOOK LIVE is our on-line, web-based program to access our email, calendar and other features from just about anywhere, using any web-enabled device. That can be a tablet, smartphone, computer, TV, or anything else that's internet connected.
Live@edu is not just email. Scroll down the page to read more about the other great features in Live@edu, including WEB APPS and SkyDrive.WEB APPS

Along with our new EMAIL and Calendar program, we'll also have access to a series of Microsoft-based Web Apps. We will be able to create WORD documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and OneNote entries, within our new 'cloud' environment. We can create and edit files and documents, right on the web, or if we have Office 2010, we can take them to the full program on our computers for more editing.

SPECIAL NOTE: Microsoft has changed the storage capacity in SkyDrive, from 25 gigabytes to 7 gigabytes, unless you have already used SkyDrive and have uploaded at least one file. In that case you can claim the 25 gigs as originally offered, by going to SkyDrive and accepting that offer.
An
important feature of the new setup, is SkyDrive. Look at SkyDrive as
our personal store area on the web. Storing pictures, files, documents
and anything else, with up to 25 Gigs of storage capacity. In SkyDrive,
we can print, edit with web apps, and share our files with anyone with a
Windows Live ID.
