Medical Mission to Haiti
Three alumni doctors and three students are preparing for the Medical Alumni Council’s annual medical mission to Haiti. Once again, the team will work with Fr. Rick Frechette, C.P. H’07, St. Damian’s Hospital Director, doctor and priest.
Lead by Hartford, Conn., maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Richard Bevilacqua ’83, the team will depart on January 14th to provide much needed medical care to the underserved people of Haiti.
Dr. Bevilacqua will be joined by Dr. Pamela Taffera ’02, Dr. Chris Andres ’89 and University students Kathleen Lavelle, Mike Le and Lucie Henry.Mark your calendar for our Scranton Alumni Tour
We will be traveling to Los Angeles, San Francisco and several cities in Florida Feb. 28 through March 4, 2012. Join us as we get together with fellow alumni, parents and friends at various receptions, brunches and even a Yankees vs. Phillies spring training game. Watch your email for details!

Shamrockin’ Eve 2012Shamrockin’ Eve 2012 is set for Friday, March 9, 2012! Alumni from the Classes of 2007- 2011 are invited back to campus to join the senior class for some food and drinks, live music, and plenty of Irish shenanigans. Registration opens in February, but for now, add your name to the "planning to attend" list.

Jonathan Fanuzzi ’97 was hired as an executive vice president at Jones Lang LaSalle in its New York office. He will focus on expanding the agency leasing practice within the organization with new and existing clients. Fanuzzi has more than 14 years of experience in commercial real estate, specializing in agency leasing representation for more than 12 million square feet of office space. Hundreds of children in Lackawanna County woke up Christmas morning to find gifts under their trees thanks in part to the effort of Gabrielle Palmieri ’02. The Greenfield Twp. resident helped coordinate the county's Adopt an Angel program, an initiative that provides gifts at Christmastime to children receiving help through Lackawanna County Children and Youth Services.
