Open House to be held Oct. 23, Nov. 6

The University of Scranton will host two Open House events for prospective students and their families on Oct. 23 and Nov. 6.
Faculty from the Jesuit university's College of Arts and Sciences, Kania School of Management and Panuska College of Professional Studies will be on hand to answer questions regarding the university's 61 undergraduate majors and 45 minors. Admissions counselors and financial aid representatives will also be available, along with members of student organizations, athletic teams and the university's programs of excellence, such as the Honors Program, Faculty-Student Research Program, Special Jesuit Liberal Arts Honors Program and Business Leadership Program.
Student-led tours will be conducted throughout the day and will include academic facilities, dining halls, the new Loyola Science Center and residence halls, including the new apartment complex on Mulberry Street.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and continues until noon. A brunch for students and their families will take place from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., followed by a noon presentation with remarks from University of Scranton President Kevin P. Quinn, S.J., and Joseph Roback, associate vice president of admissions and undergraduate enrollment.
