Emergency Notification System Tested Today

The University of Scranton will test its emergency notification system in the late morning or early afternoon of Tuesday, Sept. 13.

Each semester, faculty staff and students are asked to verify and update their contact information used for the University’s Emergency Notification System in order to receive notices of emergencies, school closings or delays via email, text and phone messages.

University email addresses are already registered to receive alerts. Faculty, staff and students can register up to three numbers to receive voice and text messages, and up to two additional email accounts. Those who have not already done so are asked verify/update your information prior to the system test.

To verify/update your information, click the Local Address/ENS tab on the my.scranton web portal. The tab will continue to appear until the information is updated and verified.
