Keynote Speakers Announced for disAbility Conference
The Honorable Lynnae Ruttledge, commissioner, Rehabilitation Services Administration, Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services, U.S. Department of Education, Washington, D.C., will deliver the afternoon keynote address. She administers a public/private partnership that serves one million individuals with disabilities annually and places in employment.
Kathleen West-Evans, director of Business Relations for the Council of State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation (CSAVR), will deliver the opening keynote. She has more than 30 years of vocational rehabilitation and employment experience. Currently, she is the founder and lead staff person for development of the National Employment Team- the national Vocational Rehabilitation-Business
Network.
Dale DiLeo, a widely sought-after speaker and consultant, and well-known advocate for people with disabilities, will be the keynote speaker at the Town Meeting that begins at 4:30 p.m. DiLeo has provided training throughout the United States, Canada, Australia and Europe on community inclusion for persons with disabilities. His latest book, "Raymond’s Room," focuses on ending the shameful segregation of people with disabilities in community life.
