2011-2012 Undergraduate Catalog Now Online

The University of Scranton’s 2011-2012 Undergraduate Catalog is now available online at catalog.scranton.edu. This is the second year the University has used a web-based catalog to display information regarding the University’s academic departments, programs of study, course descriptions and academic calendar.
The online publication also includes a wide range of University materials highlighting our Catholic and Jesuit tradition, as well as addressing student-related content, including undergraduate admission and expenses, scholarships and financial aid, and life on campus. The catalog contains a University directory with a complete listing of members of the Board of Trustees, administration, faculty and professional staff.
With the completion of the robust online version, the University – similarly to last year – will not print the Undergraduate Catalog. Questions or concerns about the Undergraduate Catalog may be directed to University Editor Tommy Kopetskie at kopetskiet2@scranton.edu.
Don't Forget to Check Out 'My Portfolio'
In an effort to personalize its catalog user’s online experience, the University is taking advantage of a feature called “My Portfolio,” which allows catalog visitors to record and track items of interest.
My Portfolio enables prospective and current students, faculty and staff, who register on the University’s online catalog website, to bookmark their favorite programs, courses and other catalog content.
As registered users browse catalog content online, they will routinely see an “Add to Portfolio” link on the catalog’s pages. By clicking on the link, users can save the item in their portfolio folder. Saved portfolio items will be available for retrieval during subsequent visits to the catalog website.
To access the My Portfolio feature, visit catalog.scranton.edu and select the My Portfolio tab located on bottom of the left-hand navigational bar. New users can register by clicking on the “create an account” link, and providing an email address and password. Prospective students may also request to have an admissions advisor contact them. Returning registered users need only to reenter their email address and password to gain access to their archived portfolio items.
