12th Annual President’s Breakfast Needs Volunteers

It’s that time of year again! The Center for Health Education and Wellness (CHEW) and Dining Services will be sponsoring the 12th Annual President's Breakfast! This year’s President's Breakfast is scheduled for Monday, May 16, from 9 to 11 p.m. in Fresh Food Company located on the third floor of the DeNaples Center. To ensure the success of this University tradition, we are asking for your assistance in any of the following areas:
  1. Greeter
  2. Grill #1
  3. Grill #2
  4. Brick Oven
  5. Round Grill
  6. Cleaners   
We hope that you will be able to join us at some point during the event to work a 90-minute shift.  If you would like to volunteer for this rewarding event, respond to Barbara Eagen at eagenb1@scranton.edu or contact CHEW at 941-4253 by Friday, May 6.  Please indicate which area you would like to work and the time that you are available.

The time slots are as follows: 
8:30 – 10 p.m. and 10 to 11:30 p.m.

Recruitment and Retention: A Diversity Approach

The Office of Equity and Diversity invites all administrative staff, faculty and hiring managers to attend an important NEPDEC workshop on Thursday, May 5, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. in the PNC Board Room, Brennan Hall (room 500). Eddie L. Davis, vice president of human resources at Mercy Health Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania, will present a dynamic program on the benefit of using diversity as a tool that can help build a stronger, more diverse, more competitive institution. Live@EDU Information Sessions Scheduled

IT Services is pleased to announce a number of information sessions on the new e-mail and calendar system, Live@EDU. All faculty and staff are encouraged to attend one of these sessions to learn about our new e-mail and calendar system that will be implemented over the summer.  Join our IT Training Specialist John Williams and find out ….

All sessions will be held in Brennan Hall, room 228, no registration required:
