Scranton Day of Service: Royals Give Back

During the inaugural Scranton Day of Service in April 2010, a group of alumni and friends assisted a tree-planting project on Seventh Street in Allentown.
On Saturday, April 16, Royals everywhere will roll up their sleeves will show what “men and women for others” really means.
Large groups. Small groups. Families. Individuals. From campus to California, alumni will be sweeping streets, serving meals, painting fences and sharing the Scranton spirit as part of the second Scranton Day of Service.
Last year more than 450 alumni, students and friends participated in the inaugural Scranton Day of Service.
