University Releases Online Catalog’s ‘My Portfolio’ Feature

My Portfolio (pictured) enables prospective and current University of Scranton students, who register on the University’s online catalog website, catalog.scranton.edu, to bookmark their favorite programs, courses and other catalog content.

In an effort to personalize its catalog user’s online experience, The University of Scranton recently unveiled a new feature called “My Portfolio,” which allows visitors to record and track items of interest.

My Portfolio enables prospective and current students, who register on the University’s online catalog website, catalog.scranton.edu, to bookmark their favorite programs, courses and other catalog content.

As registered users browse catalog content online, they will routinely see an “Add to Portfolio” link on the catalog’s pages. By clicking on the link, users can save the item in their portfolio folder. Saved portfolio items will be available for retrieval during subsequent visits to the catalog website.

To access the My Portfolio feature, visit catalog.scranton.edu and select the My Portfolio tab located on bottom of the left-hand navigational bar. New users can register by clicking on the “create an account” link, and providing an e-mail address and password. Prospective students may also request to have an admissions advisor contact them. Returning registered users need only to reenter their e-mail address and password to gain access to their archived portfolio items.
