December 7, 2010: Faculty/Staff News

Volunteers Needed for Christmas Morning Breakfasts

The University of Scranton and The Fresh Food Company will be joining together on Christmas morning to serve breakfast to the Scranton community for those in need. We are seeking University of Scranton staff and faculty volunteers to help. Your family is welcome as well. The event will be held on the third floor of the DeNaples Center on Saturday, Dec. 25, from 8-11 a.m.

If you would like to volunteer, we are looking for servers, bus people, greeters, etc., to help us for the day. All those who assisted last year had a great time and the people we served were very grateful. Volunteers would report to the DeNaples Center at 7:30 a.m.

Volunteers should e-mail Pat Vaccaro, director of the Community Outreach Office, at vaccarop1@scranton.edu, providing your name, how many people will be volunteering and a cell number. A brief informational meeting will be held sometime later in December prior to the event.
