Noel Night Slated for Saturday, Dec. 4

Performance Music will host the 43rd Annual Noel Night, featuring The University of Scranton Singers and Small Ensembles, on Saturday, Dec. 4, at 8 p.m. (The instrumental prelude music will begin at 7 p.m.) The performance will feature special guests, Riza Hequibal, harp; Mark Gould, trumpet; and Marcus Printup, composer. The program includes:
  • Frank Ferko "Festival of Carols"
  • Stephen Paulus "Jesu Carols"
  • Marcus Printup "How Great Thou Art"
  • Mark Sirrett "The Oxen"
  • and much more ...
The event will be held in the Houlihan-McLean Center (Mulberry Street at Jefferson Ave.). Admission is free and open to the public as a Christmas gift to the community from The University of Scranton.

Performance Music will also host its Empty Stocking Fund Benefit Concert on Thursday, Dec. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Houlihan-McLean Center, and will feature an evening of Christmas carols with “Santa” Ron Leas and The Christmas Big Band. In lieu of admission for the Empty Stocking event, guests are asked to donate a new, unwrapped toy or a new article of children’s clothing.
