Motivational Speaker to discuss The Power of Personal DECISIONS

The Office of the Provost and Vice-President for Academic Affairs and the Division of Student Life are pleased to announce Andrea Mosby, a frequent and popular speaker at college campuses across the country, will provide a special address to first-year students titled, The Power of Personal DECISIONS. Mosby’s address will take place today, Tuesday, Nov. 2, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the DeNaples Center's ballroom.
Andrea offers a warm, funny and motivational keynote that reminds students the importance of thoughtful decisions in their lives. College students are faced with tough choices on a regular basis. Should I use alcohol and drugs? Should I skip class today? What should I pursue as my major? Who should I live with next year? With so many options today, students need to learn the confidence to make good decisions that will lead them on a path to success. They need to seek options that are in alignment with their values and goals.
Using the acronym DECISIONS, Andrea walks students through the factors they must consider when making important personal choices. From having determination to taking control of their lives, students will see how to lead themselves and their organizations to a successful place. Andrea’s funny, challenging and interactive style invites audience members to dream big things. Students will walk away from the keynote with a new sense of security when making the tough decisions that will inevitably come before them.
