New Suite of Admissions Pages

Through the University's new Admissions website, visitors can watch a variety of videos featuring our students, faculty, campus and location.
Over the summer the Creative Services department worked with Undergraduate Admissions and the Information Technology Development Applications departments to redesign the Admissions website, visit calendar and key forms, resulting in a suite of new pages that integrate multi-media to bring the Scranton experience to life for prospective students.

Starting with the Admissions homepage, visitors can watch a variety of videos featuring our students, faculty, campus and location. Content on this page also includes information on academics, athletics, national recognition, links to other key pages on our website (such as Academics, Student Life and Jesuit Tradition) and a digital version of our undergraduate viewbook. To visit the Admissions homepage, see http://www.scranton.edu/admissions.

Other new pages include:
  • www.scranton.edu/location - content includes a video about Scranton, a photo gallery and links to area attractions.
  • http://matrix.scranton.edu/admissions/profiles/index.shtml - a directory of six student and four faculty profiles, most include a video profile.
  • www.scranton.edu/videotour - a home for the nine new videos filmed on campus over the last year which include Choosing Scranton, Student  - Life, Our Jesuit Tradition and Academic Excellence.
  • There's lots more including Schedule a Visit, Open House Registration & Info, Directions to Campus, etc.
The project is part of an ongoing overhaul of the University's website that thus far has included the completion of more than 60 different sites.
