Public Safety Forum for Students, Faculty and Staff

The University will be holding open fora for students, faculty and staff to learn more about the transition from a Public Safety Department to an armed University Police Department. We have engaged the services of a respected campus safety firm to help guide us through the arming process.

The University of Scranton’s Schemel Forum will mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of classical composer Robert Schumann (1810-1856) with a recital by pianist Jeanette Micklem, one of Zimbabwe’s leading musical artists.

Discussion Explores ‘Healing on the Edge of Society’

The Panuska College of Professional Studies and The Leahy Community Health and Family Center will host a luncheon discussion by Rev. James F. Duffy, S.J., M.D., assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at the Georgetown University School of Medicine and Trustee of The University of Scranton, entitled “Healing on the Edge of Society.” Community leaders and area health care professionals will join students, faculty and staff for the event Friday, April 16.
