April 13, 2010: General News

Paul's Letter to the Romans Presentation April 15

You are invited to experience Paul’s Letter to the Romans like never before. The Romans Experience is structured as a celebration with friends gathered around a table sharing a simple meal while experiencing Paul’s letter in a new way. These powerful and challenging words have been distorted throughout history to support all kinds of hateful agendas leading to division and despair rather than community and hope. As the community actively participates in this letter, each person hears these words in different ways.

Be part of this experience and learn more about this masterpiece presented by Christopher Moses. There’s no need to bring anything with you. Just come with an open heart, ready to experience these familiar words in a new way.

Join us on Thursday, April 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Heritage Room of the Weinberg Memorial Library for a memorable evening. Since seating is limited, participants must register by contacting Maribeth Smith at smithm9@scranton.edu or 941-7680 by Wednesday, April 14.

Celebrate National Library Week

Students (and anyone with a text message-enabled cell phone) can now send their library questions to the Text a UofS Librarian phone number, and a librarian will respond via text message.
