Staff Senate Website Update

The Staff Senate website www.scranton.edu/staffsenate has been updated with a new page titled "Meeting Minutes" located at the left hand navigation.  The new Meeting Minutes page contains links to PDF versions of minutes from all previous Staff Senate meetings since April 9, 2008.  If you're interested in the activities of the Staff Senate, feel free to browse the newly posted information.

IT Fall Forum

The next IT Forum for the Fall 2009 semester is scheduled for Tuesday, November 24, 2009 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Rose Room, Brennan Hall Room 509.  Our focus this month will be on Microsoft’s latest operating system Windows 7.

The Committee on the Status of Women Open Forum

The Committee on the Status of Women will be having an Open Forum on Thursday, November 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the PNC Bank Board Room, Brennan 500.  Information was sent to all female employees, but we welcome male attendees, as well.  The topic is COMMUNITY SAFETY, an issue with which we are all concerned.  Mr. Timothy Briggs, Public Safety, will be the presenter.  If you have any questions you want discussed, you can: 1) send them prior to the forum to Dr. Marian Farrell, 2) deposit them in a box at the site, or 3) ask them at the time of the presentation.  Lunch will be provided.  Space is limited.  Please send your reservation ASAP to farrellm1@scranton.edu

USPB 2010 Spring Concert 2nd Survey

You chose Jack's Mannequin last year; now help us decide who will be performing at the USPB 2010 Spring Concert!

Vote on the 2nd survey by logging onto my.scranton.The survey will be available from Monday November 16th to Monday November 30th at 11:59 p.m..

Don’t be worried if your favorite artist was on the first survey and not on the second, they may still have a chance!

This concert is for everyone at the U; so vote and make it your own!!
