Unified Science Center Web site Launched

The website for the Unified Science Center is up and running! If you are interested in learning more about the unified science center design concepts, getting an overview of the project, seeing sample images of what some of the spaces would look like, or monitor the progress of the construction in real time via a webcam, please visit the Web site at http://matrix.scranton.edu/academics/sciencecenter.

X Box Project Provides Eye-Opening Experience for University Students

The classroom moved into the real-world for a group of University of Scranton electrical engineering students who reconfigured an XBOX to meet the physical capabilities of a 15-year-old boy with a spinal cord injury.

Faculty Member Receives Nursing Education Award

The Pennsylvania State Nurses Association (PSNA) presented Marian L. Farrell, Ph.D., professor of nursing at The University of Scranton, with its 2009 Nursing Education Award. This prestigious award recognizes a member of PSNA who contributes to the advancement of nursing education and demonstrates strength of character, commitment and competence. The recipient is selected by peer members of the association.
