MAY 24 – JUNE 5, 2010
Sponsored by the Kania School of Management and the Panuska College of Professional Studies

The Kania School of Management and The Panuska College of Professional Studies are collaborating to offer the greater University of Scranton community an opportunity to experience China and the art of Guanxi (the nurturing and development of personal relationships that cement alliances in formal business and institutional relations) first hand during a thirteen (13) day escorted tour of the People’s Republic of China.  Participants will visit China’s three most famous cities (Beijing, Xi’an and Shanghai) where they will explore both the old and new China.  Experienced faculty will familiarize participants with the history and culture of successive Chinese Dynasties.  Professionals and academics will brief us on China’s rapid modernization and transition to a market economy.  Stimulating discussions led by experts, professional tours and opportunities to meet and network with peers will make this a memorable professional and personal experience.
