Hunger in Scranton

Since the Education for Justice theme for this year is FOOD, we wish to raise awareness of those around the University who experience food insufficiency.

This round-table discussion will be an opportunity for members of the University community to interact with representatives from local agencies that serve the people of the Scranton area who are in need of food.  Friends of the Poor, United Neighborhood Centers, and Catherine McAuley Center, among others, will participate.

The discussion will take place on Tuesday November 3, 2009 in DeNaples 405 from 11:30am to 12:45pm. Light refreshments will be served. All are welcome. For more information contact justice-education@scranton.edu
