The Office of Residence Life is currently preparing for the fall 2013 housing lottery. The housing lottery is the online process used by Residence Life to enable current resident students to select housing for the next academic year. The below information is an overview of the lottery process. Please see lottery information sessions times and plan to attend one for more detailed information.
It is very important to note that current and eligible sophomores, juniors, and seniors must have paid a $200 non-refundable housing deposit by 4 p.m. on Jan. 11, 2013, in order to be included in the Pool A Lottery. This deposit will be applied to student accounts in July 2013, Students who paid the deposit after the deadline will have limited available housing options.
Current resident freshmen, who currently live on campus, are required to reside on campus as sophomores and therefore do not have to pay a housing deposit. Current residential freshmen will automatically be placed in the sophomore lottery.
Students who have returned from study abroad and who have not previously lived off campus, as well as new transfer students have until February.
All housing lottery information and updates are available on the Residence Life website.
