Social Justice from a Faith Perspective Discussed in Honor of Martin Luther King

n honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Greater Scranton MLK Commission and The University of Scranton’s Office of Equity and Diversity will host a panel discussion regarding “Social Justice from a Faith Perspective” on January 14 at 7 p.m. on campus.
    
    Panelists and the faith they represent include Rabbi Joe Mendelsohn, of Temple Israel, Judaism; Rev. John Sivalon, Ph.D., of The University of Scranton, Christianity; Riaz Hussain, Ph.D., of The University of Scranton, Islam; and Vera Walline of Keystone College, Baha’i.
    
    The panel discussion, presented free of charge and open to the public, will be held in the fourth floor McIlhenny Ballroom of the Patrick and Margaret DeNaples Center. Refreshments will be served.
