Interested in reconnecting with old friends and classmates? There are plenty of events scheduled year-round just for you, alums! Here is a recap of Reunion Weekend 2011, plus a slew of upcoming events on and off campus.
Remembering Our Royals: The 10th Anniversary of 9/11
A decade ago, the world was shaken by the tragic events of Sept. 11, and a surge of shock and sadness flooded the hearts of those near and far, including our University community. Michael Costello ’96, Timothy Finnerty ’90, Charles Heeran ’00, Timothy Hughes ’80 and William Kelly ’93, as well as 32 others who were related to students and graduates, were taken from us that day.
Building a Legacy
For many of our alumni, a Scranton education is a family tradition. This fall, 73 daughters and sons of Scranton alumni – including 11 from alumni couples – entered the University.
Why We Give Back To Scranton
Why do Scranton alumni give back to the University they love? In their own words, Benjamin Courtney ’11, Jim Franconeri ’65 and Noradeen Farlekas ’83 explain.
Stay Connected with Your Alma Mater
There are lots of ways to stay connected to the University you love. Don't forget to nominate an inspiring alum for the annual Frank J. O’Hara Alumni Awards, vote for the Alumni Board of Governors, or update us on your recent advanced degree.
