Unified Science Center Ascends Toward Scranton Skyline

In 2011, The University of Scranton will open the doors of its 200,000-square-foot unified science center. The above photograph displays the center's construction through early April.
In the fall of 2011, the University will open the doors of its 200,000-square-foot science facility, one of the most dynamic, innovative science buildings in the country.
Outfitted with 22 class and seminar rooms, 34 laboratories and a multistory atrium, the energy-efficient facility will house research and instruction in the natural sciences, including the Biology, Chemistry, Computer Sciences, Mathematics and Physics/EE departments.
The unified science center will be a fitting home to the University’s rich legacy of science education, and also a center of collaborative learning for all members of the campus and community.
