The Shamrockin' Story
In 2009, the University held the first-ever Scranton Shamrockin' Eve. The event was conceived by a group of young alumni who wanted a way to reconnect with Scranton and each other prior to their five-year class reunions. With this in mind, a band was booked, the Byron Complex was reserved and the first-ever Shamrockin' Eve was born. The event, attended by over 800 alumni and friends from the last five graduating classes, quickly became the place to be on parade weekend.
