When you arrive on campus, make The DeNaples Center your first stop. A warm welcome awaits you at our Hospitality Center, where you’ll receive your name tag, event tickets and other information.
Frank O’Hara Awards are presented annually to alumni who have exhibited sustained achievement in a particular field or endeavor. These are the highest awards bestowed jointly by the University and the Alumni Society. To view past recipients, visit www.scranton.edu/oharaawards.
This dinner is open to all alumni who wish to join the University and the Alumni Society in celebrating the accomplishments of this year’s O’Hara Award recipients. Tickets required.
From Sinatra to Beyonce, every generation has their favorite stars. Now you and your classmates can boast about who has the best taste in music at the Karaoke Lounge. Meet up with your friends, enjoy snacks and spirits, and listen to or perform your favorite hits.
Alumni, friends and children accompanied by an adult are welcome to take a swim in the pool.
Step back into the classroom with the Alumni College, where you can discuss current issues with prominent faculty. While the curriculum will include a short reading prior to Reunion, there won’t be any tests! Seating is limited; pre-registration required.
- Eat More Chocolate, Are You Kidding Me? New studies indicate the chocolate improves brain function meet with Dr. Joseph Vinson, Professor of Chemistry who will explain chocolate's antioxident properties and compare them with other foods. Also, how chocolate's fat and antioxidents are related to heart disease will be discussed in terms of epidemilogical, animal and human supplementation, and mechanistic studies.
- Everything You Ever Wanted to Ask a Jesuit. Come to this session hosted by Vice President of University Ministries, Rev. Rick Malloy, S.J., Ph.D,. Using his own brand of wit, Father Rick will entertain his audience while sharing with you how the University of Scranton gets students and alumni thinking about their own spirituality and impact on the world.

A favorite at every Reunion, the picnic offers an afternoon of traditional picnic fare, beer, wine and soda bar, entertainment and plenty of activities for children. Alumni are invited to show their Scranton pride by wearing their favorite University t-shirt. So dig out that old Royals t-shirt, or buy a new one at the Bookstore when you arrive.
Cocktails, Class Dinners and After-Party
Join your classmates back on campus for this grand gathering of alumni from all classes. The fee for the class dinner includes: the cocktail hour, your class dinner and the after-party.
Join us for Sunday morning Mass as we celebrate the Eucharist and remember deceased classmates.
On-campus dining certainly isn’t what it used to be! Reconnect with your classmates one last time at this full-scale brunch in the University’s Fresh Food Company. Come and go at times that are convenient for you.
REEXPERIENCE SCRANTON
These tours, led by a current student, will give you and your friends a chance to revisit familiar sites on campus and to see how Scranton has changed.
Admissions staff will be available to answer questions for college-bound students, their parents and grandparents.
