Overnight Accommodations

There are two housing options available for alumni who wish to stay overnight in the Scranton area on Alumni Reunion Weekend - on-campus residences or nearby hotels.

On-campus Residences

Staying on campus epitomizes the back-to-school experience, putting you a short distance away from Reunion events and old haunts. On-campus accommodations are available to alumni who are attending on-campus, fee-based Reunion events. The registration fee is $65 per person, and includes two nights, Friday and Saturday. Alumni and guests wishing to stay on campus must also register for their class dinner Saturday night.

You can register for on-campus accommodations when you register online for other reunion events. Alumni wishing to stay on campus will register individually and list the family members and friends with whom they would like to be housed. Groups of up to 4 alumni wishing to be placed together on campus should register by June 1, 2012.

There are two types of on-campus accommodations available - residence halls and apartments, please read the information below to determine which option best suits your needs.

Please note: due to the abundance of alumni requesting to stay on-campus space is residence halls and apartments is limited. Space will be allocated to parties when all members of the party have completed their registration.

Residence Halls

Our residence halls provide suite-style accommodations, with two adjoining, double occupancy rooms, one bathroom and basic linens.

These suites are typically utilized by alumni couples who wish to share a private room and have their own bathroom; and also by individuals who wish be housed in their own private room and share a bathroom with each other.

Apartments

The University of Scranton proudly offers apartment-style living steps away from the action of Reunion.  Most apartments feature 2 or 4 single bedrooms, a bathroom, a modern kitchen and basic linens.

These accommodations are best suited for groups of four alumni who wish to stay in single rooms, but be housed together in one unit. Groups of alumni couples may also choose this option.

Regrettably, the University does not have the resources to provide childcare for families during Reunion Weekend. However, if you are planning to stay on campus, and want your children to accompany you contact the Alumni Office at 1-800-SCRANTON to learn more about the Bring Your Own Babysitter program.

Hotel

If you desire off-campus accommodations the following are some options available in the immediate Scranton area. For your convenience, the University has blocked rooms for Reunion guests. When you call the hotels below, be sure to mention "The University of Scranton Alumni Block" and the event codes listed below. Please make your reservations early, as most blocks expire 1 month prior to Reunion weekend, and can fill as early as January.
