Veterans and Military Admission
- Yellow Ribbon Program: The University of Scranton agrees to provide additional scholarships to eligible veterans to assist them in paying for tuition and fees at the University. For information, including eligibility requirements, please visit the Yellow Ribbon Program website.
- Principles of Excellence:The University of Scranton intends to undertake good faith compliance with Executive Order 13607 Principles of Excellence, pending clarifying guidance from the Departments of Defense, Education, and Veteran’s Affairs, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
- Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA): The University of Scranton participates in the Department of Defense’s employment assistance program for military spouses of active duty service members. This program helps military spouses find employment in high-demand, high-growth Portable Career fields. MyCAA offers eligible participants up to $6,000 of Financial Assistance that can help them pursue education, training, licenses, certificates and degrees leading to employment in Portable Career fields. Please see the MyCAA website for more information.
