Transfer Application Information
Online Applications Download Forms Online Application Procedures Students applying online to Scranton should submit the following:
- Online application
- Official high school transcript showing graduation date or official copy of the GED certificate and grade report (if fewer than 36 college credits completed).
- Official results of the SAT I / ACT (if fewer than 36 college credits completed): Submit scores on your official transcript or from the College Board or ACT.
- University of Scranton Codes:

- ACT: 3736
- University of Scranton Codes:
- Official transcripts from all colleges attended, whether or not credit was earned, and a list of courses in progress.
- Letter of recommendation: Your guidance counselor or professor/teacher may use the recommendation forms above, an alternate form, or write a letter. Through Scranton's online application, you have the option to email the form directly to your guidance counselor or professor/teacher.
- Personal statement: Submit in the online application, email to transfer@scranton.edu or mail to the address below.
- If a disciplinary violation occured during college, please also print out and complete the disciplinary form.
- Permanent Residents must submit a copy of their current Proof of Residency card.

Application Deadlines December 15: Preferred Deadline for Spring-Semester Transfer Applications
Transfer students interested in applying for the spring semester are encouraged to apply by December 15.August 1: Preferred Deadline for Fall-Semester Transfer Applications
Transfer students interested in applying for the fall semester are encouraged to apply by August 1.Applications are considered after preferred dates on a space-available basis.
Scholarships All accepted students are evaluated for academic merit scholarships. No special applications are required. Students receiving merit scholarships will be notified of the amount in their acceptance letter. For more information on financial aid and scholarships, please click here.
