Online Application Procedures 

  • Online application
  • Official transcripts (with certified English translation) showing all secondary and post-secondary courses, grades and graduation date(s)
  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended, whether or not credit was earned, and a list of courses in progress
  • Official results of the SAT I, ACT (optional) and official results of the TOEFL or IELTS
    • University of Scranton Codes SAT and TOEFL: 2929 ACT: 3736
  • Two letters of recommendation from instructors; Through Scranton's online application, you have the option to email the form directly to your instructors.
  • Certified confirmation of financial resources
  • Personal statement: Submit in the on-line application, email to admissions@scranton.edu or mail to the address below.

Application Deadlines
December 15: Preferred Deadline for Spring-Semester Transfer Applications Transfer students interested in applying for the spring semester are encouraged to apply by December 15.
August 1: Preferred Deadline for Fall-Semester Transfer Applications Transfer students interested in applying for the fall semester are encouraged to apply by August 1. Applications are considered after preferred dates on a space-available basis.

Scholarships
All accepted international students who submit official SAT I or ACT scores are evaluated for academic merit scholarships. No special applications are required. Students receiving merit scholarships will be notified of the amount in their acceptance letter. For more information on financial aid and scholarships, please click here
