Boxes 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11

The basketball material occupies six record boxes and one manuscript box. The collection has substantially retained the original arrangement which is somewhat different from the football material. Boxes 5-7 chronologically document the program from the mid 1910s through 1982 with a few missing years. These boxes contain photographs, correspondence, schedules, and programs. Box 8 contains varsity scorebooks from 1937-1972 with some gaps. Box 9 contains JV records from 1972-1976 and Frosh/JV scorebooks from 1937-1972 with some gaps. Box 10 contains miscellaneous material related to the sport of basketball. There is material on ECAC basketball, MECAA basketball, holiday tournaments in the late 1960s to the mid 1970s and material on clinics and practices. Box 11 contains three motion picture film reels titled Colgate vs. UofS 1968. No attempt has been made to play the films.
