A searchable database for bibliographic records from 1984-1995. Provides annual reviews of to over 29 fields in three subject areas (biology and medical sciences, physical sciences, and social sciences). Full-text from 1996 to the present. Updated annually.Covers trade and industrial publications, journals issued by professional and technical societies, and specialized subject periodicals in sciences, engineering and technology from 1983 to the present.
This service covers free, full text, quality controlled scientific and scholarly journals. As of August5, 2010, there are 5,255 journals in the directory, 2,188 journals are searchable at article level, and 430,565 articles are included in the DOAJ service.Covers every doctoral dissertation completed in the U.S. at accredited institutions from 1861 to the present. Includes some master's theses and World Languages and Cultures dissertations. Updated monthly.

Articles are available in abstract form with some articles being available in full text format. Covers the time period of 1980 to the present.Newspaper Source provides cover to cover full text for 35 national (U.S.) and international newspapers. Also contains selective full text for 375 regional (U.S.) newspapers. In addition, full text television and radio news transcripts are provided.Indexes every published congress, symposium, conference exposition, workshop and meeting received by the British Library Document Supply Centre. ProQuest Science Journals provides research support for both the applied and general sciences. Coverage begins in 1986. The 740 journals cover topics relating to all major fields of study, including: Physics, Engineering, Astronomy, Biology, Earth Science, Chemistry, and many more.Includes the full text of 175 Academic Press journals. Its aim is to improve access to scientific journals starting with the complete 1996 issues. Over 2000 articles are added monthly. Subject areas covered in this database are applied sciences, social sciences, dentistry, nursing, economics, business law and finance.SpringerLink is an integrated full-text database for journals and books published by Springer. SpringerLink currently offers over 1,800 fully peer-reviewed journals and indexing for more than 25,000 books online. To restrict your search to resources to which the Library has access, chose “Library Subscribes.”Indexes 1,000 journals, major reference works, online books, laboratory manuals and management resources. Fulltext of articles is available only for those journals to which the library subscribes. Indexing is interdisciplinary. Users may search all disciplines or select: business, life sciences, chemistry, mathematics and statistics, computer science, earth and environmental science, physics, astronomy, education, polymers and material science, engineering, psychology, law, and social sciences.
