J. W. Roberts Collection
Professor Jerry Roberts served in the English department and as theater director during his brief time at the University of Scranton. Roberts joined the University in 1986 and died from cancer in 1990. His 24 linear foot collection contains predominantly research material from his 1981 doctoral dissertation concerning Richard Boleslavsky, titled Richard Boleslavsky, his life and work in the theatre. The collection contains a wide range of material including photocopied and transcribed correspondence between Boleslavsky and his peers. An inventory is in preparation.
