Jessica Barber

Jessica M. Barber, Ph.D., was named lecturer of psychology. Barber was previously employed as a graduate teaching assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Va. She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and French from Lebanon Valley College and a master’s degree and doctorate in experimental psychology (social) from Virginia Commonwealth University. She held a doctoral internship with the American Psychological Association’s Public Interest Government Relations Office in Washington, D.C., and has made a number of academic presentations at psychology conferences throughout the nation. She participated in the 2010 Summer Institute of Political Psychology at Stanford University, Stanford, Calif. She resides in Scranton.
