Kevin Flynn, MS, FACHE

Bio

Kevin C. Flynn, MS, FACHE, serves as president for Risk, Compliance Performance Solutions’ Healthcare Division in Dresher, PA. Kevin is a career healthcare executive with 30 years of leadership experience in both acute-care hospitals and academic-based medical group management positions. Before joining RCP Solutions, he served as chief operating officer for one of the University of Pennsylvania Health System’s service lines. Prior to working for Penn, Kevin held executive positions with The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Christiana Care Health System’s Riverside Hospital in Wilmington, DE and Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) in Allentown, PA.

During his career, Kevin served as the principle architect for the development and operation of LVHN’s Regional Heart Center, which was listed in U.S. News & World Report for Heart & Heart Surgery. He designed and opened two inpatient 24/7 physician hospitalist programs for LVHN and initiated and obtained Joint Commission accreditation for its Stroke Center. Kevin was elected to the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Council of Regents for Northeastern Pennsylvania, serving from 2000 to 2005 and was a founding board member and treasurer for the Multiple Sclerosis Center of the Lehigh Valley. Kevin is a senior fellow in the Panuska College of Professional Studies at The University of Scranton, where he has held a faculty appointment since 2003. He also holds faculty appointments at both Saint Elisabeth University College of Health and Social Sciences in Bratislava, Slovakia and The University of Georgia in Tbilisi, where he has taught graduate level healthcare courses ranging from leadership and human resource topics. Kevin is a member of The Pennsylvania State University’s Health Policy and Administration Undergraduate Advisory Board.

In addition to his role at RCP Solutions, Kevin is a part-time doctoral student in the Medical Humanities program at Drew University in Madison, NJ. He holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and earned his undergraduate degree in Health and Physical Education from Penn State University. Kevin is board certified in healthcare management by the ACHE and achieved fellowship status with distinction in 2002.
