1. Click the course you want to weight course grades in from the ANGEL Homepage.
2. Once inside the course, click the Manage tab located at the top of the page.




3. Click on Gradebook, which is located below the heading entitled, Course Management .
   
   


4. Click on Preferences under the heading entitled, Gradebook Setup .




5. In order to use weights in the Gradebook, you must make sure the Gradebook Mode is set to "Percentage", not Points, then click Save.
   
   


6. Click on Categories under Setup Tasks.
   
   


7. Click Settings on the far right of the Category you wish to modify.
   
   


8. Make sure Category Editor is set to Advanced
   • Enter the percent this category will contribute to the final grade
   • Auto-calculate should not be checked
   • Click Save
