Attach Content Item to Gradebook

- Click the course you want to add Content to your gradebook.
- Once inside the course, click the Lessons tab located at the top of the page.

- Under the Lessons heading click on Add Content, which is located below the heading.

- Select the content item you would like to have attached to the gradebook.
- Once you select which content item you would like to add make sure to hit the Advanced button next to the word Settings.
- Go through the Content, Access, Submission, and Review tabs and set up the content as you would like.

- Click the Assignment tab. The Assignment tab is how you link your content item to the gradebook.

- Under the heading Gradebook Settings there will be a drop down box labeled Assignment.
- In this drop down box select New Assignment.
- In the boxes that appear fill in the information.
- Fill in the Title of the assignment
- Under category either select a category from the drop down box or click Other and create a new category.
- Adjust Points Possible, Calculation Type, and Display Format as needed.
- *NOTE* Calculation Type should be set to "First Submission".
- Click
