PJ Wagner, Engineering Internship at Lockheed Martin

I spent the summer as a Student Tech Specialist at Lockheed Martin Mitchell Field. As a summer intern I worked closely alongside my mentor and answered directly to a technical manager. My responsibilities varied from using advanced engineering software and applications including AutoCAD and MATLAB, to conducting intensive and analytical trade off studies on electrical components and evaluating their efficiency for a given system. Interns were also invited to weekly lectures on the different areas of technology most crucial to the tasks allotted to Lockheed Martin Mitchell Field employees. Working daily alongside an office full of various, skilled engineers granted me an immense amount of valuable experience. The skills and tools acquired while studying at the University of Scranton gave me what I needed to become a Lockheed Martin employee.
