This past summer Ray Orchard and I developed a prototypical model of a reconfigured Xbox 360 controller designed for the movement impaired. We implemented a microcontroller called a C-Stamp to act as the processor controlling all external components on the controller such as accelerometers, pressure sensors, and different kinds of digital buttons. The controller was then presented to the recipient to test and allow us to potentially adjust the controller to better suite his needs. Improvements to the controller were then made to allow for optimum game play for the recipient and the controller was then handed over to him.
